Quick Tip: Hidden Feature in Loremify

14May

It’s been a little more than two weeks since I introduced Loremify. What you may not know is that it’s packed with a feature I haven’t even told you about. It’s not a major feature—but it’s very practical. You can change HTML tags.

It’s a very easy implementation, and it offers you some additional freedom in HTML mode. When HTML embedding is activated, hover a button so its information appears. You can click the embed tag to toggle through a preset for each button; Header goes through h1-h5 and List toggles between ul and ol. There are actually no options for Paragraph as of now, but if you have any suggestions—please tell me.

What you’ve been saying

Overall, you guys seem to really like Loremify. I especially like this quote by Barry Lachapelle from DDB in Toronto.

@msheedy just upped DDBs Art Director productivity by 15% by finding this http://tobiasahlin.com/blog/introducing-loremify/

Glad I could help, DDB. If you haven’t already tried Loremify—go grab a copy. You’ve also given me some great feedback during these two weeks, and your main issue seems to be the size of the widget—it’s rather clumsy. I agree, and a slimmer version is in the workings. I’ll start sending around the new version to some of you guys on Twitter soon to try out, so if you’re interested—give me a shout.
