Christmas time! I’m not dead, don’t worry. Since I moved to Stockholm in August, things are starting to calm down, and I wanted to give you guys a short update.

Spotify

Piraja recently mentioned that he “thought [he] was a freelance person”. I thought so, too. But I’m having a blast at Spotify—it’s an awesome thing to be a part of, and I consider myself lucky. I’m psyched to join all these awesome people at work every day. I can’t give you any details of what we’re working on, but I’m looking forward to giving you a thorough walkthrough of UI changes when we release the next client.

For those of you running Spotify on your phone—one of the first things I did when I arrived at Spotify was to convert the entire Android and iPhone graphic repositories to “HD”. We recently upgraded both clients, so I hope you’ve had the chance to experience the shiny new graphics.

An apartment

When I came to Stockholm in August, I did so without anywhere to live. I managed thanks to a great friend (love the image caption), and in late October I finally got hold of an apartment at Fridhemsplan. Finding an apartment in Stockholm is utterly crazy, and I’m glad I’ve got somewhere to call home.
