Web shop for the Swedish fashion designer Via Snella.
Production
Lina Zedig—the designer behind Via Snella—turned to us for a fully functional web shop. After consulting Jonathan Briggs, we decided to run it on Shopify.
Lina supplied us with all the photos we could wish for, and Andreas Runsten and I got started with the design. I started researching Shopify—it’s limitations and possiblities—and started creating the shop on a local server running Shopify’s developer tool Vision. While I worked together with Andreas on the design, I was the only developer on the project. We continued to develop the design, front-end and back-end during another three weeks before turning over the shop to Lina.
The site features a shop, the story behind a Via Snella and a beautifully simple blog. The products are listed in a tight, simple grid—with the price for each appearing in an elegant white box on hover.
