Copy Entire Articles with Loremify

25Dec

Here’s a little christmas joy for all you designers and developers: you can now copy entire articles with Loremify. Hover to set the paragraph count, click to copy, and you’re done—just as with the other buttons.

How it Works

To give as much of an authentic feel as possible, the formatting is based on a handful of real articles (Thoughts on FlashUse Real Words and Down the Rabbit-Hole, amongst others). Every article starts of with a header—if HTML is active, it’s wrapped in <h1> (in the HTML5 draft, you can start every new section with a h1). It’s followed by paragraphs and headers, wrapped in <p> and <h2> respectively. Here are three outputs, scaled down:

Now you might be thinking “Well that’s a splendid feature, but what about the List button?” Well, it’s gone. Boom. If you cherry it over the new article button, you don’t have to upgrade.

Download Loremify 1.3 (209kb)

In addition to the new article button, Loremify 1.3 also brings some speed bumps, jQuery is updated to 1.4.4, and the zip is 38% smaller than its predecessor. As usual, it’s a free download. Hope you enjoy it. Happy holidays!
